Valentine’s Day. The perfect excuse to wear pink eyeshadow!
When it comes to eye makeup I’m quite unadventurous. My Naked palette has been worn to death as nudes and browns are my go to shadow shades! But as it’s coming up to Valentine’s Day and I’ve so many lovely colours and palettes I thought I’d do a look using colours I wouldn’t usually wear.
For this look I used the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. This is a gorgeous pink and gold toned palette and is definitely one I don’t use enough!
The look I’m wearing above takes advantage of these pink shades but is still very wearable!
For the base colour and under the eyebrow I used “Strange” I recommend using a primer before applying any shadow as this strengthens the pigment and helps your makeup last longer.
In the crease and under the waterline I used a gorgeous browny-purple called “Nooner”.
Then I applied “Buzz” on the lid. As this colour has glitter I sprayed a flat brush with some setting spray before applying it as this helps the pigment come up stronger.
For the outer crease and also on the water line I used the darkest shade “Blackheart”
Then I applied a thin line and a small flick with liquid liner and lined my lower waterline with the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in “Roach”. The lashes I used are Nouveau Lashes Volume lashes in Style 4*. I love these lashes as they’re so comfy and also used Nouveau Lashes Ultra Bond glue * to apply them.
To complete this look I added a nude lip. I lined them with the Urban Decay lipliner in “Stark Naked” * and used MAC’s lipstick in “Pure Zen” and a NYX butter gloss in “Tiramisu”.
