Cutting loose at Forbidden Fruit
So as some of you may have seen I attended the Forbidden Fruit festival with FM104 last weekend. This was my first festival ever so I was really excited to revel in the experience and go a bit mad fashion-wise. For some strange reason we’ve been absolutely blessed with this glorious weather which meant I was able to break the crop tops and shorts out.
On the first day I wore these awesome pants I got in H&M last year but have never got around to wearing. They’re black lace with built in shorts and are perfect festival attire. I paired this with a plain white Topshop cropped tee. Awkwardly, I had a huge bandage on my left arm but was able to hide it with a bandana I picked up in Claires Accessories.
For my makeup I kept my skin really natural with a strong highlight, copper eyes and a handful of glitter. I absolutely loved my makeup and am kind of wishing I could pull the glitter off on a day to day basis!
I’m so annoyed but for day two I never got a proper full length photo of my outfit! Worst blogger ever!! I had a great start to my day two morning though! FM104 invited us to a fashion brunch in the Market Bar to makes sure we were fed and watered before the festivities. I’m actually dying to go back there now as the food there was incredible!
I decided to wear my Zara denim shorts for day two and paired it with a long sleeved Boohoo blouse. To tie the outfit together I wore another bandana from Claires around my neck. I kept my makeup pretty much the exact same as the day before as I liked it so much!
I was pretty worn out after the first two days so I actually ended up skipping the third and last day of the festival! So unfortunately I’ve no outfit post for that day.
So there you go! I hope you enjoyed this post and I apologise for the low quality iPhone pictures as I decided against bringing my camera along as it’s too big and way too expensive to lose or get stolen. Also a huge thanks to January and the gang at FM104 for my tickets!
