Brand Spotlight: Fuschia Make-Up

Hi everyone!

I’m back with a new beauty review! Today’s spotlight is on Irish cosmetics company, Fuschia!LOGO WITH TAG

I’d heard of them from other bloggers but never actually used them until I got their “Dramatise” eye palette in my Irish Blogger Conference goodie bag. I instantly fell in love, the colours are so pigmented and blended like a dream!

After tweeting about this, Anne Marie from AMForan PR who handles their PR kindly sent me a few of their products!IMG_7227A few days later I received the Mineral Starter Kit in “Medium” and their Bronzer in “Tan Lines”.

In the starter kit I got;

2 x Mineral Foundations in “Cream” and “Luscious”

1 x Rice Setting Powder

2 x Mineral Eyeshadows in “Vanilla” and “Brown Sugar”

1 x Mini Mineral Lipstick

1 x Mineral Blush in “Glow”

1 x Kabuki Brush

1 x Dual ended shadow brush

1 x Concealer brush

IMG_7256IMG_7258I’m quite new to using mineral foundation so this was a bit different for me! Usually I’ve found liquid foundation easier to use but I’m always open to new products! After applying my usual concealer and a light coat of liquid foundation ( I needed a bit of extra coverage), I then used the kabuki brush provided to apply “Cream” all over my face and neck. The powder is lovely and soft and blends wonderfully. “Cream” is the perfect colour for me and “Luscious” is a bit darker so I’m going to use that when I have tan on. After I applied all my face products I set it with the rice setting powder. You can’t really tell if setting powders are good until a few hours are later, but at the end of the night my face held up and in the crazy humidity we’ve been having! I was very impressed!

IMG_7260For a bit of sparkle, shimmer and that sun kissed look we all strive for, I used this bronzer in “Tan Lines”. This really reminded me of Bobbi Brown’s famous Shimmer Bricks. I only needed a little bit as again this product is very pigmented!

IMG_7264For my blush/highlighter I used this little pot of goodness! I didn’t find this as pigmented as the others but I think that’s because it gives more of a sheen than an actual colour. I liked this product and the size is handy but it’s a bit awkward to use. I find blush/highlighters easier to use in palettes.

Again, for eyeshadows I’m more of a palette girl but I really liked these shadows! “Vanilla” can also be doubled as an extra highlighter, I put a small bit under my brows and above my cupids bow.IMG_7272I applied all the products I could with the brushes included in the kit! I really, really liked them! The angled part of the dual ended brush was so perfect for filling in my eyebrows. It gave such a good clean, sharp line. I used the concealer brush to perfect and clean the skin around my eyebrows and lips after they were done. As for the lipgloss, it smells just like minty toothpaste and is super handy for travel!IMG_7318Overall, I’m so pleased with how my face looked and I’m such a huge fan of Fuschia now! They also kindly sent me an extra bronzer worth €30 which I’ll be giving away! YAY! I’ll post more details in the next few days! 🙂

Their starter kit retails for €49 and is available to buy on their website.

Thanks again to Anne Maria and Fuschia, can’t wait to get my hands on more of your fab products!

*I received or was sent these products but in no way was my opinion swayed and all are still my own 🙂
