Grab some gift-speration from my Christmas gift guide and start shopping!
The season of giving is fast approaching and there’s nothing worse than leaving all your gift buying to the last minute! I should know as there’s many a time I’ve found myself dashing around town on Christmas Eve!
That’s why I’ve put together a handy gift guide for her! Get your wife, girlfriend, daughter or friend a gift they’ll love and thank you for. 😉
Gift sets are a no-brainer but getting a good quality, nice one is the key! So many great brands have brought out gift sets this year and they can range from toiletries to makeup to fragrances. The Body Shop always do amazing sets for Christmas and this year, for every specially selected gift you buy, The Body Shop will restore 1 square meter of the Rainforest. Smell great and save the world… It’s a win-win!
One of my other favourite places to go for gift sets is Boots, in particular, Soap & Glory. S&G have the most amazingly quirky packaging, their products are incredible and they’re such good value for money. I also love the fact that the packaging for their big gift sets are usually reusable as bags or boxes. For more pretty packaging check out the Baylis & Harding range in Debenhams!
For makeup sets I recently wrote about Benefit’s new collection, they have tons of great kits with a vast range of products. If I were to recommend one it’d be the brow kits!
Gift cards may look like you’re playing it safe but I absolutely love them! I guess they are a safe option as the receiver gets to pick how to use them but you can put a lot of thought into them too! Gift cards for clothing stores are great if you’re unsure of someone’s size or exact taste and would rather not guess. For a beauty lover, a gift card from Brown Thomas, Debenhams or House of Fraser is perfect, let them run wild in the beauty halls! They’re also super handy to have for the after Christmas sales and nabbing those bargains.
In my opinion, anything personalised is a winner! It adds that extra bit of thought into a gift and is something just for you. TanOrganic recently sent me this personalised tanning mitt, the perfect present for a tan fanatic! I also wrote about the perfume engraving service that Boots offer, get your loved ones name or even an important date etched onto their favourite scent.
Ah, my kindle. I literally can’t leave the house without it. To be honest this present suits any gender, just as long as they’re a book lover! This kindle is an older version, the new ones are similar to tablets but I prefer this style. The battery lasts forever and it’s extremely light weight. It also saves money as ebooks are a lot cheaper than hardbacks. Depending on the model, the Amazon e-readers range from €70 upwards.
These are the extra bits! I always think that stocking fillers should be small, fun surprises. For a woman, a range of beauty products, chocolates and sweets are ideal! Again, The Body Shop and Boots are perfect for these little gifts. Lip glosses, lipsticks and nail polishes are always a winner. Stockings are your chance to give some cheesy gifts too! A handmade voucher for a back rub is a good start. 😉
I hope this helped! Let me know if you’ve started your Christmas shopping yet!
