Welcome to my last post of 2016 and the final part of my ‘How to Style a Winter Coat’ style series! I really enjoyed writing these posts and shooting these looks. Lorna and I did something we’ve never done before and shot 3 looks each in 2 hours. It was great fun rushing around and changing in my car… the things we do for fashion. ūüėõ

Two Piece Sets

This is definitely my favourite look from the series. As you know, I got my blazer coat from Roz Purcell’s collection with Scribe of London, Scribe by Roz. Luckily, Lorna had the matching pants so I was able to shoot the full outfit which is not a look¬†I’d usually go for but I love how it looks!¬†I think these¬†co-ordinates, or something similar,¬†would be an amazing alternative Ladies Day outfit for the races, especially¬†for¬†ones held on this side of the season.

I wore a H&M ribbed turtle neck with gold buttons on the sleeves that add a little something to the outfit. Although the colour scheme is quite plain, the outfit in whole really stands out and makes a statement so there was no need to wear a loud, bright shirt on top. Keeping in line with that, I finished the outfit with my trusty, black heeled sandals from Penneys.

Co-ordinates have been rapidly gaining popularity this year with tons of high street stores selling them. Penneys, Topshop, Missguided and Boohoo have huge ranges of co-ords and matching sets if you’re on the look out!
