New M·A·C Booking Services in Dublin Airport

MAC_makeup_loop_11 M·A·C Cosmetics have just launched an all new booking service exclusive to Dublin Airport

M·A·C Cosmetics is without a doubt one of the biggest cosmetic brands worldwide and when I was approached to collaborate with them I nearly died. Ok not really, but I was close! I’ve been a fan and customer of M·A·C since I was fourteen years old, so to work with them is pretty much a dream come true.

To celebrate the launch of M·A·C’s new booking services in Dublin Airport, I was invited to visit The Loop and try their services for myself. The concept is simple; before your trip, ring M·A·C in either T1 or T2 (depending where your flight is departing), book in for one of their services and enjoy!

There are two services on offer; a Focus Feature Lesson or an Express Makeup Application. Both cost €25 and are fully redeemable against any M·A·C product purchased at the airport. I decided to try the Focus Feature Lesson, which is where a M·A·C artist will give you a 30 min, step-by-step lesson on how to apply makeup on either your eyes, eyebrows, lips or face.MAC_makeup_loop_22 MAC_makeup_loop_23

As I had an hour, my lovely makeup artist Kym, did a focus feature on my whole face! It was actually a lot of fun and I felt like I learnt loads. Kym would apply the makeup step-by-step on the left side of my face and then get me to recreate the same on the right. It’s funny, because you get so used to doing your makeup a certain way everyday that it almost feels like you’ve nothing new to learn until someone comes along and shows you different!

The look we created featured flawless, dewy skin with a smokey, burgundy eye and a nude lip. My favourite products were definitely the “Soft & Gentle” highlighter, “Give Me Sun” bronzer and M·A·C’s newest “Upward Lash” mascara. The packaging for Upward Lash is brilliantly funny, it basically looks like a huge M·A·C lipstick!MAC_makeup_loop_3

Of course, M·A·C do offer complimentary demos but they’re based on availability and if the airport is busy you’ll be less likely to get one. Booking in ensures you a spot with an artist and if you’re planning on purchasing some products anyway then I say “why not?!”.MAC_makeup_loop_21

To book in, you simply need to call either of the numbers above and even better, if you quote ‘Darling Buds of Mei’ when booking your service at M·A·C Dublin Airport you’ll receive an extra treat at the end of your service!! “Quantities are limited and subject to availability while supplies last.”

So what do you think? Will you be booking in for a service the next time you’re jetting off?
